Become a Member, Renew Your Membership, or Give a Membership Gift
Membership in the Buckeye Trail Association is a great way to help maintain the Buckeye Trail. The Association is a non-profit, volunteer organization responsible for all aspects of the trail. Your membership entitles you to a quarterly newsletter, and access to a growing list of special events and benefits.
Within 2-4 weeks you will receive a new member welcome letter and your membership card. Below are some of the other great benefits you will enjoy by being a member!

BTA Chapters
Chapters are localized efforts taking on the challenge of the mission of the Association along the Buckeye Trail around Ohio. Chapters are busily building, maintaining, protecting and promoting the use of Ohio’s longest scenic hiking trail for our citizens, communities and partners in Ohio. They are providing outdoor recreation, opportunities to volunteer, education, access to the varied resources Ohio and local economic benefits along the Buckeye Trail. Currently the Buckeye Trail has 10 Chapters:
- Miami Erie Canal Chapter
- Lake Plains Chapter
- The Wilderness Chapter
- Miami Rivers Chapter
- Little Cities of the Forest Chapter
- Muskingum Lakes Chapter
- Crooked River Chapter
- Central Ohio Chapter
- Ohio River Chapter
- Appalachian Foothills Chapter

Simply choose the "Renew" option after following the membership form link BELOW. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your payment and renewal.
Give a Gift Membership
A gift membership to the BTA is a gift you can feel great about giving to a friend or family member. You can support the BTA’s efforts and introduce someone to the Buckeye Trail at the same time. The gift recipient will receive a New Member Packet, as well as a subscription to our quarterly newsletter, the Trailblazer.
