Scouts are required to supply service to their community and Eagles need to complete a service project. The Buckeye Trail Association (BTA) members take great pride in assisting young men by providing opportunities for projects. The focus of the project is to develop leadership skills as you provide service to our organization. The BTA is anxious and excited to begin working with you on your project. It is the responsibility of the Scout, in keeping with the spirit of scouting, to approach the BTA with their own idea for a project and then to work closely with the BTA in implementing the proposal. We invite you to hike the Buckeye Trail, looking for areas that need improvement. The BTA is a volunteer organization and would like to help with volunteer hours from our membership.

The BT passes through many National, State, Local, and Private Lands that can benefit from your service. If you are struggling to think of a project, contact us. The Liaison will have a list of projects that need to be completed. For more information about potential projects, please contact the BTA Scouting Liaison at .
