The Buckeye Trail is guided by volunteers who plan, organize, and lead behind the scenes.

Committee and team work helps the Buckeye Trail Association (BTA) grow, stay organized, and serve communities across the state. If you have skills in leadership, fundraising, outreach, planning, mapping, technology, or communications, there’s a place for you. Most roles are remote-friendly and welcome new voices.

How committees support the trail

  • Contribute your professional skills or lived experience to a statewide cause.
  • Help guide the BTA’s mission and long-term strategy.
  • Stay connected and make an impact, even if you can’t be out on the trail.
  • Work alongside dedicated volunteers who care about Ohio’s outdoors.
