U.S government shutdown: how it impacts the BTA
Learn how the U.S. government shutdown affects the Buckeye Trail Association, volunteers, and trail users, and what steps we’re taking to stay on track.
This week, as many of us know, the U.S Federal Government officially shutdown. For some of us, this is not our first government shutdown with the Buckeye Trail Association, while for others—this is the first shutdown you may have experienced.
While no government shutdown is the same, we have some learning lessons from the past and we are working closely with our partners to ensure that Buckeye Trail Association operations remain as normal as possible!
Some of the effects of the shutdown do impact our volunteers, while others may impact our trail users.
