Chapter background
The Central Ohio Chapter is unique in that it does not contain any parts of the Buckeye Trail, but is a relatively short drive to all sections of the Buckeye Trail. This allows the Chapter to highlight various portions of the Buckeye Trail for outdoor adventures and volunteer opportunities. Along with serving the central Ohio audience, the Chapter also takes on a support role, addressing unmet trail needs around the state.

How to get involved
- Join a trail maintenance work party
- Attend a hike, Chapter meeting, or event
- Become a BTA member and select “Central Ohio” as your Chapter
- Help with outreach at festivals, trail events, and the Ohio state Fair
