Saw the BT was moving some trail off road and was in the Hocking Hills area this past weekend so I decided to take a look.
Friday was lovely weather for the hike - high 60s low 70s.  Scared up 7 turkeys and a deer, lots of wildflowers.  Looks like they had a very recent burn there.  The Boch Hollow trails were wide, well-marked, and well-maintained.  They do, however, make pretty direct assaults of hills - 550 feet of ascent in 3.6 miles.
I noted a lot of spots were the BT crossed BH trails, looks like the BT climbs are a bit gentler.  These parts were closed off so I didn't walk on them, but it looks like a nice addition to the trail.  Look forward to walking it when it opens.
