I was just reading Skeemers journal from his 2007 hike of the BT.  I must say that it's not a glaring endorsement for the BT.  In fact, it sounds like the trail is in some pretty bad disrepair in some places.  Particularly in the southern half of the state, he mentions that the trail completely ends or blazes are incorrectly marked and entire sections of the trail are closed.  Is this really the case?

Start of journal: http://www.trailjournals.com/entry.cfm?id=172202

I must admit that I was pretty gung ho about doing the BT and after reading this review, I'm about to run in the other direction.

This is a duplicate thread. I started a discussion on this yesterday. You can read and contribute here: http://buckeyetrail.org/TrailTalk/index.php?topic=120.0
