On Friday it is my intention to complete my hike of the Buckeye Trail.  I have about a five mile slice where Massillon meets Bowerstown.

Will be in the Hocking area for vacation in mid-September.  Trying to figure out a place to meet people if anyone wants to help me celebrate.
Any suggestions?

About 8 1/2 years after I started, I have completed the Buckeye Trail.   Grin  About 10:45 Friday morning, I hit the railroad tracks on Dawn Road in the Bowerstown section.  It's been quite the experience.

Thanks to the Cleveland Hiking Club (F troop), Chris Mc, Poppie, Pioneer Spirit, Rocket, Clockwise, Bob, Jim, Rachel and anyone else who helped give me a boost in my mileage and companionship on the trail.

What's next?  The Little Loop has changed since I was on it and it's close to home.
I've also been eying the NCT route towards Pennsylvania....   Wink

Congratulations!

You forgot the bigger accomplishment...you did the majority of the trail twice.

Kathy. Congratulations. It's a big accomplishment. I remember you, Richard, Poppie and I hiking on the AEP and into Stockport. I had that little meltdown with Poppie   Angry in the restaurant, but we were good after that. I miss him a lot.Good luck with your next venture, Clockwise
