if you do decide to make Spencerville's Old Acadia Park
(Delphos pt. 4) an overnight stay, please follow their guidelines for using that location as the park rules state dawn to dusk use only. please read the following from their City Administrator.
One thing i can think of which should probably be answered is during the winter time is the water source still available or do they turn the water fountains off from some date to some date.

The Chief of Police, Darin Cook, forwarded me your email message regarding information about camping at the Village's Old Acadia Park.We welcome that activity
and have folks camp there periodically throughout the year; typically, while they're hiking the canal trail. All that we ask is that they call or send a letter requesting permission to do so at least two weeks in advance of the event
. I will then provide written authorization for them to camp.
We have public drinking water access at this site and porta johns; we typically do not allow fires; however, that is negotiable based on circumstances.
