Author Topic: Osprey Exos 58  (Read 5299 times)

I've had my Exos 58 out a few times now, on a couple of dayhikes and an overnighter this past weekend at Shawnee (nearly seventeen miles using the Silver Arrow Trail).  I was worried that the "less hefty" hip belt would mean less comfort as compared to my Aether 70, but no worries there.  The Exos rode well, rather comfortably actually, and most of the trip I forgot it was on my back.  Features like hip belt pockets and side insert pockets made it easy to grab a camera or quickly access rain gear as conditions dictated.  I carried 31 pounds with no issues (weight includes water).  I would recommend this sub three pound pack to folks wanting comfort for a three day weekend!

Glad to hear it works well for you. Everyone I know who has an Oxprey speaks highly of them.
The Exos also comes in 34 & 46 liter sizes. Video review about the pack design for those interested.
Good video -

Backpacking light, feels so right.
